History
Founded in 1993 St. Hubert; Quebec, Kree Tech International Corporation is an established developer and manufacturer of medical bandage materials for the healthcare industry. These include printed vinyl, coated plastic and fabric substrates and bulk finished goods.
Kree's initial manufacturing capability in lamination (application of adhesive to substrate) has been supplemented by construction of a further plant in Plattsburgh (near New York) where tape material is cut to width, to suit customer requirements.
In 2002 Kree was able to certify it's Quality Management System to ISO 9001:2000.
Restrictions on the use of latex in medical products led to Kree's pioneering development of latex-free adhesives suitable for skin contact. The Company has also developed proprietary coating formulations giving its medical bandages greater effectiveness and versatility.
In 2005 Kree went public (TSX V:KT) to raise money for expansion into the Advanced Wound Care (AWC) market.
Subsequently state of the art new plant has been completed for the AWC division in Clearwater, Florida. This plant is vertically integrated with both laminating and slitting capability.
